Does this put me on the ranked list?
No. The ranked list is measured — we ask AI assistants for the best custom home builder in a market, many different ways, and count who they actually name. A brand-new company has nothing to measure yet, so it can't be on it. The Spotlight section sits below that list, is labeled new and unranked, and carries no rank and no score.
What does it cost?
Nothing. You can't buy a Spotlight listing and you can't buy a ranking — not from us, not from anyone. If a listing here could be paid for, the measured list above it would be worth nothing, and that list is the whole point.
Who gets listed?
New custom home builders that are real. A person reads every submission and checks that the business exists and works in the market it asked for. We turn down anything we can't verify, and we turn down established companies trying to get in the back door — if you've been around long enough to be measured, you get measured.
How long does it stay up?
Until the next benchmark run in your market. After that you're measured like everyone else — either AI recommends you and you're on the real list, or it doesn't and you're not. "New" is a starting point, not a permanent category.
Will you contact me?
Only if you tick the box saying we can. We'll email you when your listing goes up, and we may follow up about getting a brand-new business found on Google and ChatGPT. Tell us to stop and we stop.
